In solidarity with the #metoo and #timesup wave, PWIFT continues to be a fierce advocate for justice and equity for all women in film and media in Philadelphia. Join us to celebrate our inaugural PWIFT Elevation award honoring Sharon Pinkenson of the Greater Philadelphia Film Office for her tireless work in helping to lift up so many in our community.
Walk the red carpet through the Fleisher’s annual exhibit of emerging artists. Enter this historic sanctuary for a fun-filled evening of entertainment and a celebration of diversity. Proceeds: Fewer than 11 percent of all films are being directed by women. The proceeds from the 2018 PWIFT Gala will go to the new Palmer Enfield Directors Grant to help aspiring women directors launch their careers, and to other PWIFT educational programs.
